This is the Daily note from jamesabrown.net Christmas is always difficult for me, and I used to think it was because of how I grew up.
Speaker A:Now I don't know anymore.
Speaker A:And honestly, it doesn't really matter because the why doesn't fix the what 6 in 10Americans feel like me, they'll feel sadness or loneliness this holiday season, and 2/3 of them say the pressure to be happy is part of the problem.
Speaker A:I feel them there because we've turned Christmas into a performance, and when you can't perform, you'll feel like something's wrong with you instead of something being hard for you.
Speaker A:Whatever you do this holiday season, I hope you do what's right for you and wherever you are.
Speaker A:From my family to yours, Merry Christmas and give yourself some grace.
Speaker A:On that note, I'm James A.
Speaker A:Brown, and as always, be well.
