We talk about how our usual spending habits get thrown into disarray as we scramble to prioritize essentials like gas, food, and insurance. Many of us are living on the margins, learning that life can feel like a multi-front war where budgeting becomes a bit of a fantasy. So let's hope we find our way out of this chaos soon. I'm James A. Speaker A:Most people budget roughly the same amount every month.
Speaker A:But when the President goes to war, that plan goes out the window and we adjust.
Speaker A:We don't do one or two or three or more of the things we used to do, saving all we can for gas or food or or car insurance and so much else.
Speaker A:And that's manageable, maybe, if you're fortunate.
Speaker A:And with so many more of us on the margins, the thing we're all learning quickly is that life is often a multi front war, one you can barely budget for.
Speaker A:So here's hoping that we're not here for long.
